LET Room Assignments September 2024 Teachers board exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the room assignments for the upcoming Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) in Metro Manila. The exam is scheduled for Sunday, September 29, 2024. Metro Manila, known as the National Capital Region (NCR), consistently has the highest number of LET takers. 

The LET, one of the largest licensure exams administered by the PRC and the Board of Professional Teachers (BPT), is anticipated to attract over 100,000 examinees nationwide, including both elementary and secondary level candidates. 

The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) is a crucial step for aspiring educators in the Philippines. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administers this exam twice a year, in September and March. The September 2024 LET is scheduled for Sunday, September 29, 2024. This exam will be conducted in various testing centers nationwide, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. 

Room Assignments and Testing Centers
 
The PRC will release the room assignments for the September 2024 LET a few weeks before the examination date. You can check your assigned school/building on the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) or through notices posted at the PRC premises two to three working days before the exam. 
 
The PRC has designated additional testing centers to accommodate the influx of examinees and to avoid unnecessary travel: Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Calapan, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon, and Tagum.

General Instructions for Examinees

 
The PRC has provided a set of general instructions for all LET examinees:
 
1. Verify Your Assignment: Check your assigned school/building at the PRC website or through notices posted at the PRC premises. 
2. Punctuality: Report to your assigned school/building no later than 5:30 AM on the day of the exam. Late examinees will not be admitted. 
3. Dress Code: Male examinees must wear a tucked-in white polo shirt with a collar, and decent pants or slacks. Female examinees must wear a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with a collar, and decent pants or slacks. 
4. Calculators: Examinees for the secondary level with a major in mathematics may use calculators during the LET, provided they are non-programmable and have only basic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric function, logarithm, and xy. 
5. Grooming: Examinees must be well-groomed, with hair properly clipped or ponytailed. 
6. Required Items: Bring your official receipt of payment for the application, a long transparent white plastic envelope for valuables, a long brown envelope, two or more pencils (No. 2), and a black ink ball pen. 
7. Prohibited Items: Books, notes, review materials, programmable calculators (except for mathematics majors), smartwatches, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth devices, bags of any kind, and other unauthorized examination aids are strictly prohibited inside the examination rooms.
8. Health Standards: Examinees and examination personnel are encouraged to observe the minimum health standards per DOH Circular No. 0324 (s. 2023) during the exam. 
9. Examinee Guide: Read carefully and follow the instructions on your Notice of Admission and Examinees Guide. 
 

Exam Coverage

 
The September 2024 LET covers General Education and Professional Education subjects for the elementary level. For the secondary level, it includes specialization in addition to General Education and Professional Education. 
 
To pass the LET, examinees must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
